This event was put together to keep tradtional music alive and to create a fellowship of musicians and friends. There wasn't a better place to do it than in the old home town of the late Henry Reed. Go to the link above to learn more about this great Old Time Fiddler.

Most of the locals that can remeber him in his prime will tell you that he was one of the best fiddlers around. We want his fiddlers convention to have more meaning than just another competition. We want it to be a memorial of a great fiddler and to carry on the old time music of this region.
